Have you seen the movie Rambo
(First Blood, 1982)? Did the soldier,
interpreted by Silvester Stallone,
suffer from PTSD? Even if all the
symptoms point out that this
Vietnam-survivor suffered from
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, at
the moment of the movie, this
condition was not very well
characterized and understood, so
there is no direct reference to it in
the movie.
In this research, we focused on the
cause, symptoms and treatment
of PTSD, and you will also know
other famous people that suffer
from this disease together with 5
to 10% of the world population.
