          By Dominique B.S., Delfina O., Lola F., Ramiro S and Santiago B.

Becoming a celebrity, being loved, recognized and remembered is a dream

of many kids, adolescents and even some adults. But which is the price to

pay? Our research of the link between celebrities and mental health was

                                                 based on three priority questions:

Is there any connection between fame and mental illness?

Our hypothesis is that there is, that mental illness is more common in

celebrities when compared to the normal population, because of all the

                                                                         pressure.

Are famous people open to talk about their mental issues with their

audience? We think they are not, as this gives them a bad reputation.

Which mental illnesses are more common in famous people?

We guess that depression, eating disorders and anxiety are the most

                                                                         common.

We also tried to find out the

                 role of social media and

             found many interesting and

            some unexpected aspects of

                the relationship between

           celebrities and mental illness .
